EYT is a community where young people excel in theatre performance, grow in confidence, make lasting friendships and have a ton of fun. Co-led by Scottish BAFTA and RTS winning actor, Shauna Macdonald, with an incredible team of committed industry professionals. Your child will find their voice, hone their skills and discover so much more through the performing arts.

Summer Camp
Musical Madness!
Musical Theatre camp. Age 8-10yrs & 12-14yrs
Jul 15th - Jul 19th 10:00-16:00
Each day is packed with creativity and skills building in everything musical theatre. Come and sing and dance your way through the holidays. Make new friends and have a blast! Experienced musical theatre leaders, Jess and Chloe, will work with the students towards a final performance in front of guardians and friends at the end of the week.

Fringe Experience
Join the cast of 'A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Kind Of' and perform 6 shows at TheSpace venue at Surgeon’s Quarter between August 8th and August 13th 2024.
Rehearsals:
AUDITION DAY- prior to rehearsals tbc.
Jul 22nd - Jul 26th 10:00-16:00, Bellfield (week 1 rehearsal)
Jul 29th - Aug 2nd 10:00-16:00, Bellfield (week 2 rehearsal)
Aug 5th - Aug 7th 10:00-16:00 Bellfield (week 3 rehearsal)
Aug 8th Technical rehearsal AND FIRST SHOW 8:30am- 12:30pm
August 9th - 13th PERFORMANCE DAYS, TheSpace Triple, Surgeon’s Quarter 11:20-12:30pm
Each performer will receive a FREE theSpace pass which allows access to all theSpace venue shows!!!!
The cost of taking part in this incredible opportunity is £300. Payments will be spread over three months:

Cinema School Online
Learn the craft of filmmaking with award winning filmmaker, EYCS leader and film lecturer, Paul Barrie.
This course takes place via Zoom across the whole of Scotland. It is a fantastic way to connect with other film makers from different backgrounds and creative experiences. Students will have the opportunity to shoot their own films under the guidance of Edinburgh Youth Cinema School professionals.
10 session course for all abilities.
New students welcome at any time during the course.
